Review policy

Reviews should help you understand a product. This policy explains where they come from, how ratings are calculated and how to report a concern.

Where reviews come from

Product reviews may include feedback originally published on AliExpress for the same item, alongside reviews submitted to The IKI Society. We check the product, option and contents before importing a review. Marketplace reviewers did not buy from IKI, and their reviews do not describe our delivery or customer service.

We keep the original source and moderation record privately. Only a review matched to a fulfilled IKI order can carry the label "Verified IKI purchase". Verification by another platform does not qualify for that label.

What we publish

We apply the same rules to every rating. Relevant feedback about appearance, construction, size, fit, use and durability is welcome, including criticism. We do not publish fake reviews, spam, personal information, incentives we cannot verify or reviews of a different item.

Imported reviews about the supplier, marketplace service or delivery are excluded from the product section. When a review mixes product feedback with these topics, we exclude it in full. We do not edit out criticism or extract only the praise. Every imported review is checked before publication.

We do not offer rewards for positive reviews. Any incentive attached to a review must be disclosed and assessed before it can be published.

Wording and translation

English reviews retain their original wording apart from formatting. Some reviews are translated into English. Translations are checked against the original and must preserve the meaning, reservations and rating. We retain the original text.

How ratings work

The score beside a product is the average of all its published product reviews, including eligible marketplace reviews. It is a product score, not a score for IKI's service. Each review contributes equally, and the count and rating breakdown include every published review, not just those currently visible on screen.

Reviews appear newest first. You can filter by star rating or change the order without changing the overall score. A product without published reviews remains unrated. When the item, option or supplier changes, we check earlier reviews before including them in the current product's score.

Report a concern

Contact us with the product page, the review and the reason for your concern. We check reports against the original record and may correct or remove a review. Reviewers can use the same route to ask us to reconsider a moderation decision.
